මේ Bullet සහ  Dome camera දෙවර්ගයම කාර්ය අතින් ගොඩක් සමානයි. මේ දෙවර්ගය ඔබ යෙදිමට බලාපොරොත්තු වන කාර්ය අනුව ගැලපීමෙන් අනතුරැවයි ඔබ යමකට යොමු වෙනවා නම් යොමු විය යුත්තේ. මේ Bullet Camera එලියට නෙරා තිබෙන ආකාරයක් දැකිය හැකියි. මම ගිය වතාවෙ ලිපියකත් ඒ ගැන සදහන් කලා. හරියට තුවක්කුවක එලියට නෙරා තිබෙන barrel එකක් (barrel of a gun) වගේ. මේ  dome camera එකක් තියෙන්නේ circular “dome” shape එකක්මයි. ඒ වටකුරැ ගෝලාකාර ස්වභාවයකුයි. මේ වර්ග දෙකේම  surveillance cameras ගොඩක් ජනප්‍රිය නිසා මම හිතන්නේ ඔය ගොල්ලෝ දැකල  ඇති. ඉතින් මේ වර්ගවල මහ ලොකු අමාරැ සහ තද rules නැහැ භාවිතා කිරිමේදී. තමන්ට ඒ මිලදී ගන්න ස්ථානයෙන්ම මේ සම්බන්ධයෙන් විමසා මතක තබාගෙන හෝ  guidelines එක නැත්නම් manual එක හරහා installation ක්‍රියාවලිය කර ගන්න පුලුවන්. ඒත් සමහර පක්ෂ හා ප්‍රතිපක්ෂ අදහස් තියෙනවා මේවා දෙවර්ගයම එක වගේ වුනාට භාවිතයන් තුලදි පැන නැගෙන. එනම් සමහර applicationsතුල මේවා ක්‍රියාත්මක කිරීමෙහි ගැටලු පවතිනවා. අපි හිතමු මේ CCTV installers ලා දහයක් විතර ගත්තාම එයින් නවයක් පමණම එකග වෙනවා bullet cameras ගොඩාක්ම හොද කාර්යක්ෂමතාවයක් හා ප්‍රතිඵලදායි වෙන්නෙ OUTDOOR applications සදහා යන්නටත් dome cameras ගොඩක් දුරට හොද වෙන්නේ INDOOR applications සදහාත්ය කියන තර්කයට.  

                       අනික් කාරණා තමයි ඔබ ගොඩක් දුරට පැතුරැමක් එහෙමත් නැත්නම් long-range එකක් ආවරණය කරන්නට camera එකක් භාවිතා කරනවා නම් bullet camera එකකට තමයි යන්න ඕනේ. එනම් දිගු ලෙන්සයක්  දිගු හා පැතිරැණු දුරක් ආවරණය කරනවා. (The longer the lens, the longer the range) . මොකද dome camera වල නැඹුරැව පවතින්නේ ගොඩක් දුරට අඩු විශ්කම්භයකින් යුත් lenses වලටයි. නමුත් එහෙමම කියලත් නෑ. සමහර domes වල අන්තර්ගත කර තිබෙනවා පෘථුල වූ ලෙන්ස විශේෂයන්. උදාහරණයක් වශයෙන් Veilux Cameras Manufacturer  විසින් ගෙනෙන Vandal Dome Camera විශේෂය මෙවන් වු ආකාරයක් ගත්තක් වෙනවා. එය 22X zooming සහිත  1080p පමණ ඉහල විභේදනයක් සහිත වීඩියෝ පටිගත කිරීමේ හැකියාවෙන් යුක්තයි. සාමාන්‍ය Dome Camera  එකක මිලට වඩා මේ විශේෂිත Vandal Dome එකක් දෙතුන් ගුණයකින් පමණවත් මිල වෙනස් වෙනවා. Indoor camera එකක් නම් dome තමයි common එක. ගොඩක් අය ඒකට කැමති ඒ විශේෂය ආගන්තුක නැ ගොඩක් අයට. ඒ වගේම දර්ශණීය වගේම මටසිලුටු පෙනුමක් තියෙනවා අර බැරල් එකක් වගේ එලියට නෙරලා ගිය කැමරාවට වඩා.මොකද ගෙදරක් ඇතුලටනෙ.  අනික මෙහි කැමරා එක ඇතුලට වෙන්නට හැංගිලා පිහිටන නිසා සිවිලිමක වගේ කල ස්ථාපනය පිටට පෙනෙන්නේ ගෙදර හයිකරපු විසිතුරැ බල්බයක් වැනි පෙනුමක්. මේ ගැන අවබෝධයක් ඇති යමෙකුට හැර මෙහි වෙනස හදුනා ගැනීමට එකපාරම හැකියාවක් නෑ. නමුත් Bullet  camera එකක් ඉතා පහසුයි මේ dome  එකක් ස්ථාපනය කරනවට වඩා. මොකද ඒවා බිත්තියකට හෝ කණුවකට සවි කිරීම පමණයි කලයුත්තේ. ඒවා point-and-shoot කැමරා විශේෂයක්. නමුත් Dome එකක් සවි  කරද්දි පියවර ගොඩක් තියෙනවා ඒවා අවශ්‍ය ආනතියට හැරවීම දක්වාම. Bullet  cameras වර්ගය natively weather proof නිසා හා environmental protection වලදී longer range එකක් සහිත ලෙන්සයකින් ආවරණය සහිත නිසා vehicle park එකකට , bank එකකට, Bus stand එකකට හෝ හොරැන්ගෙන් ආරක්ෂා කල යුතු තැන් වගේ විශාල පරාසයක් ආවරණය කරන්න හැකි තැනකට ඉතා යෝග්‍යයි.මොකද මේ වර්ගයේ ලෙන්සයන් හි ඇති පැහැදිලිව පෙනෙන පරාසය මගහැර යන්නට අසීරැයි. ඉතින් මේ Dome Cameras වල General, Infrared, Vandal Proof, IP, Infrared IP, Vandal Proof IP, Vandal Proof Infrared IP යනුවෙන් ආකාර බොහොමයක් තිබෙනවා. ඉතින් මේ කැමරාවල බලවත් infrared LEDs විවිධ ප්‍රමාණවලින් ඇතුවා වගේම අයහපත් ආලෝක තත්වයන් යටතේ වුවත් පැහැදිලි වීඩියෝ තොරතුරක් ලබා දීමට සමත්.

    යන කොයි නමෙනුත් හඳුන්වන්නේ වාහන වල බලපත්‍ර තහඩු මගින් ඒවා හඳුනාගැනීමේ කලාවක්. එහෙමත් නැතිනම්  image processing technology එකක්. බොහෝදුරට යොදාගන්නේ access control system එකක් වගේ security and traffic installations වලදියි. උදාහරණයක් ගත්තොත් අපි හිතමු වාහන පාක් එකකට වාහනයක් ඇතුල් කිරමේ සිට බිල් කැඩීම (automatic payment calculations)දක්වා වූ ක්‍රියාවලිය මෙයට ගෙන හැර දැක්විය හැකියි. එහෙමත් නැත්නම් විහාල සමාගමක් ගත්විට ඒ සමාගමේ සේවය කරන නිලධාරින්ගේ වාහන වල  registration numbers පරිගණකයක ගබඩා කොට මෙවැනි කැමරා පද්ධතියක් ඔවුන්ගේ වාහන ඇතුල් කරන ගේට්ටුවේ සවිකොට එම වාහන උදෑසන ඇතුලුවීමේදි ස්වයංක්‍රීයව කියවා   කලින් පරිගණකය තුල ගබඩා කොට තිබූ registration numbers  ගැලපෙනවානම් ස්වයංක්‍රීයව ගේට්ටු විවර වී වාහනය තුලට ගැනීමත් තවත් උදාහරණයක්. 

                   මේ තාක්ෂණයේදී වාහනයක් හඳුනා ගැනීමට යොදාගන්නා එකම එක ක්‍රමය වන්නේ මේ License plate එක identify කරගැනීම පමණයි. මෙහි කැමරා ආකාර කිහිපයක් තිබෙනවා. ඉන් එක් වර්ගයක දී LED බල්බ එක බහාලුමකත් ,  කැමරාව තව එකකත් බහාලමින් යුගලක් ලෙස එලි දැක්වෙනවා. එම ප්‍රභේදයෙහි   LED මෙන්ම Infra-red වැනිම වු illumination විශේෂයක් භාවිතා කරමින් ප්‍රතිදීප්ත බල්බ ලෙස යොදාගන්නවා. අනෙක් වර්ගයේදී  Monochrome camera එකකුත් Color cameraඑකකුත් වශයෙන් දෙකක් භාවිතා කරනවා (Two high quality cameras in one). 

                       තවත් වර්ගයකදී Reflective License Plates පමණක් හඳුනාගත හැකි ආකාරයේ Black & White සහ Colour  කැමරා විශේෂත් දක්නට ලැබෙනවා. ඉතින් අර කීව කලු සුදු හා වර්ණ කැමරා දෙකම එකට තියෙන පද්ධතිය ක්‍රියා කරන ආකාරය අපිට දෙවිදිහකට හදා ගන්න පුලුවන්.  Monochrome camera එකෙන් License plate එක identify කරගැනීමත් අනෙක් Color camera එකෙන් පසුව අවශ්‍ය වුවහොත් යන අරමුණින් එම ඇතුල් වූ වාහන වල වර්ණ වීඩියෝ දර්ශණ හෝ ජායාරෑප ලබා ගැනීමත් යන කාරණා දෙක සිදු කිරීමට පුලුවන්. මෙවැනි කැමරාවක අධෝරක්ත LED බුබුලු 100 කට ආසන්න සංඛ්‍යාවක් අඩංගු වෙන අතර ඒවා රාත්‍රියේ දී වුවත් අඩි 200ක් දුරින්  යන වාහනයක වුවත් පැහැදිලි රෑපාවලියක් ලබාදීමට සමත්.

         ඉතින් මෙවැනි කැමරාවක built-in එන තාක්ෂණයක් තමයි Digital Noise Reduction (DNR) කියල අපි හඳුන්වන්නේ.  මේ තාක්ෂණයේ ප්‍රතිඵලය තමයි low-light situations(අඳුරැ ආලෝකය ඇති විටදී) සහ lowering back-end costs (වියදම් අවම ලෙස ස්ථාපනය කල පද්ධතියක් තුලදී) යම් වෙලාවක අදාල වීඩියෝ රෑප රාමු මඟින් සංඥා විකෘතිතාවයක් ඇති වෙයි නම් එය අඩු කර ගැනීමේ හැකියාව.අපි  Noise (නොයිස්) එකක් ලෙසින් හඳුන්වන්නේ දරැනු ඝෝෂාව වගේ අර්ථයක් දෙන්න. අපි මෙහිදී තාක්ෂනික වශයෙන් අර්ථ විවරණය කරද්දී  "යම් කිසි සංඥාවක් එයට අසමාන වූ වෙනස් සංඛ්‍යාත​ කොටස් ඇති සම්ප්‍රේෂණ මාධ්‍යක් ඔස්සේ ගමන් කරන විට රේඛීය නොවීම හේතුවෙන් සමහර කොටස් එකතුවී මුල් සංඥාවට  අවහිරතා ඇති කරන වෙනත් වෙනත් කොටස් නිපදවිය හැක. මෙය (Inter modulation noise - අන්තර් මූර්ජන ඝෝෂාව ) ලෙසින් හඳුන්වන සංඥා විකෘතිතාව ඇති කරයි". මම දන්න විදිහටයි ඒ පැහැදිලි කිරීම කලේ. වෙන කාට හරි ඔයිට වඩා හොඳ විදිහක අර්ථකථනයක් ඇත්නම් කරැණා කර එය පල කරන්න. ඉතින් අපි මෙලෙස Noise Reduction යනුවෙන් තාක්ෂණිකව ව්‍යවහාර කරන්නේ ඉහත ආකාරයට  සංඥාවකින් අපැහැදිලි විකෘතිතාවය ඉවත් කිරීමේ ක්‍රියාවලිය යි. Analog හෝ Digital යන දෙවර්ගයටම අයත් සියළුම වර්ගයේ තාක්ෂනික උපකරණවලට noise ග්‍රහණය​ කිරීමේ හැකියාව පවතින විදිහටයි නිර්මාපකයින් ඒවා නිර්මාණය කර තිබෙන්න්. එකින් එකට වෙනස් වෙනවා. මතකද මම data කේබල වල එන ෆෙරයිඩ් බිඩ් උපාංගය ගැනත් ලිපියක් දැම්මා කලින් වතාවක.ඒකත් මේ හා සමාන ක්‍රමයක් තමයි.

   මේ තියෙන්නේ DNR තාක්ෂණය සහිත හා රහිත කැමරාවක ජායරෑපාවලියේදී ඇති වෙනස. ඉතින් මේ තාක්ෂණයේ උපරිම ප්‍රයෝජන ගන්න පුලුවන් හා අවැසිතාවය පවතින්නේ මම ඉහත කීව ආකාරයක කාර් පාක් එකක් හෝ ඉහල සමාගම් වැනි තැනකට තමයි.
